July 2026 Updates

Labyrinth Games

This month, I focused on writing the first arc of Labyrinth Games, a progression fantasy with sci-fi elements. Each arc will be between forty and fifty chapters long, and the rough draft for the first arc is approximately 90% done. Right now, there are five arcs. This might change as I write and outline, and I haven’t decided how to publish it. I know I want to serialize the story, probably on Royal Road, and I might also serialize it on Substack. 

Smith & Jones novella

(working title: The Adventures of Vic and Billy Wells)

I have a very rough outline for the novella and will start writing the rough draft in August. The story will focus on two minor characters as they travel outside Malkin City.

Gadyeni Cycle

After a long hiatus, I will start working on the outline for the third book (working title: The Midnight King) in autumn. I started writing the outline a few years ago, but life and other projects got in the way. 

I also want to update the first two books with better cover art and interior layout as well as adding a glossary. 

Other Projects

Blood Priest and Replacement are going on a temporary hiatus until these other projects are complete. I do not expect to work on them until early next year, but I will continue to provide updates.
