It is the first book in a new fantasy mystery series.

Invictus Jones finally achieved his dream of living in Malkin City, working for a prestigious shipping company. But that dream did not include being robbed at gunpoint on day one by a Fae. The police’s timely arrival prevents the thief from doing any harm, but the incident leaves with him questions. What caused a Fae, of all creatures, to turn to crime? And why rob a nobody like him?

But Invictus’s search for answers paints a target on his back, drawing attention from the city’s criminal underworld and threatening to ensnare him in a trap he cannot escape. 

For my other projects, I am about halfway through the rough draft of a standalone fantasy novel, and the fourth draft for "Blood & Gold" ("Smith & Jones" Book 2) is complete. I plan to have it published in the first half of 2026, and it will take place a few months after the events of Book 1.
